Caroline Golon, Publisher & Editor

Caroline GolonIn 2011, Caroline Golon, realized a notable absence of pet care content specifically geared towards families with human kids and pets. There were plenty of resources for pet owners and plenty of resources for parents of human children, but nothing that truly bridged the gap between the two. So she launched Crayons & Collars, featuring pet-focused educational and lifestyle content viewed through the lens of busy family life.

Crayons & Collars is part of High Paw Media, which includes other pet focused sites including cat humor and advocacy blog, Romeo the Cat and The Happy Litterbox, dedicated to helping cat owners solve litter box issues and keeping more cats in happy homes.

Caroline is also a regular contributor to Vetstreet.com, Catster.com, Dr. Oz The Good Life, and Mother Nature Network.

She lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband, two daughters, three Persian cats – Pugsley, Mr. Wilson, Rufus –  and one crazy puppy named Nigel.
